Graduation

To all the boys and girls from Room 6,

Thank you all so much for such a fantastic year! I feel proud to call myself your teacher. Each and every one of you has worked hard this year and tried their best. You should be very proud of yourselves! I wish you all the very best of luck in St Molaga’s and please know you will be missed dearly. Don’t be strangers! Thank you to your mums and dads and all of your families for the support they have given throughout this academic year.

Have a fantastic summer and I know you’ll have the best time in 3rd class next year!

Take care,

Ms O’Donnell

December

We’ve made it to December! Thank you to all the boys and girls for making the first term so enjoyable for me and each other. We are very lucky to have such kind and caring children in our class. I feel grateful to be your teacher! I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Christmas and hopefully we will see you all in the New Year ๐Ÿคž Take care, Ms O’Donnell

Jingle Bells ๐Ÿ””๐Ÿ””

We had our Santa Dash on Friday. Thank you for all the generous donations to the raffle. The children loved participating in the Santa Dash. They had to try keep up with Mr Donovan who ran the laps with every single class! ๐Ÿ‘

We had a lovely time having a disco afterwards!

Some of our art work we completed during December.

Well done to the winners of the Active School competition.

We were learning some hockey skills this month.

November

We had Science week 8th -12th November. It was great fun trying out the different experiments.

Mrs Bouzzah came to visit to show us static electricity with salt, pepper and combs!

We tested out if our boats could float. We also did an experiment to see how clean our hands were. We proved that our hands are very clean through sanitising as the bread didn’t mold quickly at all!

We had our yearly paper aeroplane competition!

We had great fun trying to build a tower as high as we could using only cubes and lollipop sticks, the challenge was not to allow the cubes to touch!

We had great fun with Anthony who was out GAA coach. Check out some of our skills!

We used lines to create a cool lion. We were inspired by the artist Romero Britto.

October

We’ve had a very busy month for October!

The children had great fun making spooky slime! They couldn’t believe when the ingredients mixed together and were so excited to see the slime become so slimey!

We started GAA this month with Anthony on Tuesdays.

We made some spooky haunted houses.

We celebrated Maths Week and enjoyed lots of new maths games. Mrs Bouzzah came in and taught us how to play 21. We also took part in a maths trail around the school.

We had great fun putting the bones of our skeletons together.

Thank you to everyone for making such an effort with their costumes today! We had a great day.
